Well, I finally got my self together and took the drive
down south, had a wonderful time. first went to my
son Garry's home in Duncan, SC then to my grandson
Mikes home in Akin SC where my daughter Jan and her
husband met me.
then on to Douglas ville Ga. then back to Duncan SC.
then back to Virginia Beach to see my grandson Raymond
and his sweet little family.
I am ready to go again. Soon I hope. I love driving out
on the road.
God's country is so beautiful to look at. Country roads
are so serene and peaceful and relaxing.
While at my friend's home and at my son's home, I cooked
up a big pot of chicken and dumplings. They insisted on
serving them right from the pot. yummmmm good.
